We are having fun living homeless... LOL! ;-) We are packing up to move once again. I think we will be staying in a hotel for a few weeks so the kids can swim over the holidays. We are looking to buy a home here in the near future. It is so stressful looking because we really don't know where we want to live. There is so much out on the market. Do we have Trent travel for an hour or do we buy closer to the boarder? We do love our kids teachers but it really isn't like Maine. Victor Van Gieson is here working and visiting which is such a treat. We feel like our family is here. We spent every Thanksgiving at his house. :-( We really do miss the people of Maine but we are making some great friends here. Some of my friends came over to help us pack. We decorated Sid Biglers tree for him. He has been such a blessing in our life.

My mission Companion Jackie Walker called yesterday with sad news. Her husband Justin Walker age 35 passed away on Saturday at 2:00 in the afternoon. They have 5 beautiful children together. Trent and I have cried all day on and off. I mourn for my friend and sister. She will be moving to Chico California to live with her parents. Justin's funeral is Friday August 7 at 2:00 in Meridian Idaho. He was in a plane crash. He was the only one aboard. As soon as he took off something was wrong with the plane and he turned around to land the plane but he was to low and he flew into the power lines. His plane went up in flames. Jackie was Mrs. Idaho last year and you can see there pictures on line. They were so in love. It was so nice to know she thought to call me. She sounds great. We laughed and cried. She is such a strong woman. I am excited to know we both will live in California and our kids will grow up knowing one another. Jackie and Justin have stayed at Allen and Gerbs and at Robert and Reynas home as well. And I think Bryce knows them. My whole family knows Jackie and some know Justin. They are the couple we went sky diving with in Caldwell Idaho. Caldwell is just outside of Meridian. That is also the same place Justins plane crashed.
Miya and Charlize have asked a lot of questions about her. It has been nice telling them how much she and Justin mean to Trent and I. One of the big reasons we took the job in San Diego was because of Family, Jackie/ Justin, Jerry/ Brandi, and Dustin/ Shannon Valdez ( Our neighbors in Provo). We do wish Hal and Jodi Bradshaw lived back in California. Hal was Trents best friend growing up. Our children are around the same age. We also hung out with them a lot at BYU. Jodi helped me after I had Brandon. She is like a sister.

This has given me the opportunity to call our mission friends and Mission President and Visitor Center President. Our Mission President just came home from serving in England as Mission President there. President and Sister Sorenson are from Rexburg Idaho. Before the mission in Nauvoo he was Dean of Ricks College. Sister Sorenson said it was great to hear from me and it felt like a Blast from the Past. I am not sure but I think they are going to the funeral. I feel so blessed to know someone will be there. It has torn me up inside knowing I can't be there.
Our Visitor Center President is also from Rexburg Idaho. They took good care of me when I was at Ricks College. President and Sister Ricks told me they have been on two other missions. They served in the Church Office Building and President and Sister Ricks were Temple President of the Idaho Falls Temple. President Ricks is now Lt.. Governor of Idaho. Before his mission to Nauvoo he was Senator of Idaho. They have been married 65 years and they both just turned 85. They have 50 grandchildren. It has been great connecting with them. They personally know a lot of the General Authorities and just Visited with President Erying son at BYU Idaho. They have had so many Prophets and Apostles in their home. It is so nice to listen to the stories.
Justin and Jackie have so many who love and care for them. They have touch so many lives for the good. They both are such happy uplifting people. They are our Eternal Friends. And I know we knew them before our time on this earth. We Love you Justin and you will be missed!!!

Tonight I went to the McEvoy Family home to eat Irish food. A group of us get together every other month and eat Different food from a particular country. Two months ago it was food from Taiwan. I am not sure whats next. The Shaws, Thortons, Kanes, Earnest, Blacks, Huffackers, Sterns, Matt McEvoy Family, & John McEvoy Family were there tonight. We missed the Van Giesons, Rands, Davies and a few husbands. The food was great. It was the best night. We had great conversation and lots of laughing. I loved being there. I wish I would have visited with more people but maybe next time. I can't wait for the next one.

Trent, Victor is a very happy man. Heathers blood presser is still high but she is home. She has it checked 4 times a week right now. Baby Jack weighed 8 pounds and 1 ounce. He looks just like Mason. I think our kids were so happy to see the baby. They wanted to bring him home.

For those of you reading the Blog Victor and Trent rode together everyday for work. I would say this is by far Trents Best Friend in Maine. We love the Van Gieson Family.

February Life in Maine

Trent is in San Diego. He lives in Bryce & Katies RV. He lives on Sids Property and Sid is 92 years old. We are so greatful for the blessings we have recieved. Bryce was able to hang out with Trent in San Diego for a few days.
We Still have had no one look at our home much less buy it. When Trent Left Portsmouth his boss Pete through a fair well party. He really enjoyed it.
Kevin Paquin is going to San Diego tomorrow and he stopped buy to picked up our late Valentines for Trent. Thank you Kevin.
We have so many wonderful friends who are family here. I feel so blessed to be around still but we do miss Trent.
The kids are out of school this week. We went bowling with the Davies, Paquins, and Dumonts. The kids really enjoyed it. Miya was the high scorer (87). Tomorrow we will go to the church to rollerblade, basketball, and jump rope. Thursday we will be going to the YMCA to swim. Friday will be a movie day. Saturday we will work on Brandons project on Daniel Boone. We are so happy to spent this time together.

Life As We Know It

We are loving fall but yesterday it snowed. It didn't say long. Winter is officially here. Bryce and Katie came to visit a month ago. We miss them and the boys. It was wonderful having them and boy... were they helpful. We finished our front porch and the guest bed room. We cleaned a lot out of the garage. It also was stressful for Trent and I because we can't agree on what to keep and what needs to go (Go Figure). Most of our stuff is packed away so our home looks simple and it is easy to keep clean. Our kids are not as over whelmed with their rooms. It really is simple and easy. The economy has affected many of our love ones and they are in our thoughts and prayers. We know everything will work out. It just goes to show there really is a higher power. Who loves us and knows what we need to go through. We hope everyone effected will learn what God would have them learn. Not to mention our selves. The move to California has not been easy. We have not had one person look at our home. Trent was offered another job at the shipyard here in Maine and it would be the same pay as California but he turned it down. He really wants to move even if it means being apart for a year and maybe more depending on the economy. If no one can get loans then no one can buy a home. We were hoping to be able to buy a forecloser in Cali but I guess it depends how soon we get there. Trent will probably be staying in Bryce and Katies mobile home. We have talked about the kids and I going and staying with my folks but that is one of many ideas. We truly are not stressed. It is amazing the peace we get if we listen to the spirit. Well enough of that...
Teren had her 4th baby. Her name is Hanna Colver. They moved to Orem a week before she was due. She called Dr. Gourley and he got her right in. The following Monday she delivered Hanna. Teren was so grateful to Dr. Gourley because she hasn't seen him since her first baby. He treated her like no time had past. I miss him and wish all my babies were delivered by him. It really is different in Utah than any where else and Teren agrees. She has been in Tonga, Vegas, and Utah. There is nothing like Utah. :-) I will write more tomorrow.

Aunt Brenda, Aunt Geneva, Aunt Tammy, my mom, and I went to Atlanta. We saw the Atlanta Temple and went to the visitor center. We bought stuff at the church book store. Then we went to Commerce Georgia to shop. We had dinner and took lots of pictures. My mom wore out but we took it so easy. I worry about her. I have been trying to get her to eat well (Low cholesterol). Lots of vegetables, fruit, and baked food. She is happy to do it. She needs a strong person to be her ROCK! I wish I lived close to help her. I have been exercising and I can't wait to help my mom. She needs help with that also. I hope my dad can help and I hope she lets him. I enjoyed being in Atlanta (my roots). Live is great and I am having fun but miss my little family.

My mom is well. Her Surgery went well and recovery has been fast. She had a mild heart attack. There was no damage to the heart. YEA!!! She had three blockages and they put three stints in. They put one in one day and the other two the next. One of her blockage was hard to do and they thought they may have to do open heart. We are so grateful they didn't. I have enjoyed my time with my mom and dad. I am so grateful I could come and take care of her. I went on a Bike ride with my Aunt Tammy. Then Aunt Brenda, Aunt Tammy, Aunt Geneva, and I went to get her prescriptions. I will be leaving soon to look at some property with my dad. I visisted with my brother Noah and his family. Noah has great kids. I wish my kids could get to know them better. I rode bikes with Kodi, Tristin, and Gabriel. They are a lot of fun and real sweet. I love them tons.

Best Times/ Hard Times

Brandon, Miya, Charlize, Kai and I went to Barbs home. The kids went swimming in the pool and Dakotah colored my hair. I now have reddish blonde hair. I love it. We also bought stuff for the long bike trio this week end. We are going to Vermont ( Joseph Smith memorial). We will bike 100 miles then camp and the next day bike another 50 miles. Our Sanford Ward does this every year. It has become a tredition.

My Sister Tomi called," Moms had a heart attack". I asked questions and then went on my way. Then my dad called," Your moms had a heart attack". I could hear the heart monitor and I lost it. Reality hit me over the head. I got off the phone and yea... lots of tears and prayer. It is so hard being away from family. I know this is why Trent wants to move. It has been hard for him being away from his parents. I wish I could be with my mom at this time. I know I can't do much but it would just be nice. My dad thinks I should wait. I love my parents. I never thought the day would come. Facing this kind of thing is hard, but it does happen. I remember the day Trent heard about his dads health (lots of tears). Nothing in life is more important than family.

I had the best time yesterday evening. 5 of us went on a long bike ride. I felt like I was 10 again. We played games and swing set tag. We danced, watched a movie, laughed tons, and just had fun. Everyone needs FUN times. It was so wonderful. I love life and all my friends in Maine.

I woke up at 5:30 am thanks to Trent. He is my personal Alarm. I went for an 8 Mile walk with my neighbor and her friends. It was awesome. Then Went to the Beach with Kai, Charlize, Laura( Our Baby Sitter/ adopted Daughter :-) in photo with girls), Matt M., and Jennifer. Kai is swimming so well. Brandon and Miya stayed home with dad. They played with friends. Matt Wright came over to work on his Eagle Scout Project. He also is Kai's Hero. I will put pitures on when I develope my film. Life is Great.

Trent had the Youth over for a combined activity. It is such a treat to be with all those kids. Matt and Sam came over early and had dinner with us. My kids were so excited to see there Heroes. They look up to those guys. Nat, Troy, Matt, Sam, Jacob, Emily, Katelyn, Laura, Joanna, and Gina all came over.
Brandon spent the day at Cooper Van Giesons and Ella VanGieson spent the day here at our house. My kids missed the Van Giesons while they were on their trip to Wyoming.
I talked with Gerb early this morning and she helped me a little on my Blog. Gerb is a Pro. ;.) It was great seeing her reaction to how big Kai is. I told her I will try to take pictures of our house. I really miss Gerbs energy. She always brings a smile to my face.
I hung out with Heather a little and then with Gina & Joanna. I have such great friends. My sister Teren is Pregnant. I wish I was there to help her.

Trent and I are taking a thirteen week class. It was held at our home. We are learning the best places to invest our money, saving, and getting out of debt. It has been a lot of fun. We had our eighth class last night. We are doing it with a lot of couples ( The Thorton, McEvoy, Earnest, Van Gieson, Davie, and Knights) in our ward. It has been a lot of fun. Matt and Jennifer McEvoy came over and spent the afternoon. We cut and colored Matts hair. They have been married two weeks and are living here for the summer and fall. They will be moving back to Provo, Utah for winter semester at BYU. Jen Davie and her girls spent the day with my kids and I. Jen is Pregnant and hasn't felt very good. It has been nice having her around. Miya and Charlize love Ella (5 yrs.) and Graci (3 yrs.). I also had Carson (6 yrs.), Leyton (5 yrs.), and Adam (8 yrs.) over. Ryan/Beths Divorce was final yesterday. We have loved having them as our neighbors and they will be missed. Our kids are like brothers and sisters. Brandon and Gabby started school together as did Miya and Carson. They always look out for one another. They love being in class together. Miya is so shy. Carson makes sure she is treated well. Leyton has always played with Miya and Charlize. I love those kids like my own.

I love My little family. WE have enjoyed the summer. Our pictures were fun the kids ended up swimming in the Ocean. My fifth child was hard to get there but he came and was happy. I Have been roller blading, running, and biking. I love hanging out with my Friends... Barb, Gina, Jen, Malinda, Heather, Kelli, Joanna, and Jennifer. I have been walking with my neighbor Jen Burgess and her girl friends. It has been great. I have been scrapbooking and getting pictures organized. I have been cleaning out my home. Trent has been uneasy with that but like I said it is good for him. I went to Utah 2 months ago. I saw my cousin Daniel get married to Katie. They are so cute. I spent alot of time with Trents Family and with my Aunt Stacey. Stac I love you and it was really good to see you. I saw Stephen and Jobi baby Addison Maleiha Baker. I stayed at my Brother Bryce and Katies home with My Aunt, Stephen and Jobi. I love there boys. They are alot of fun. I miss the boys. We looked at pictures of the black family and some of my own. Bryce you are truly my brother. Katie it was so great spending time with you. I love you just like my own sister. Trina came over to visit. I want you to know you really are my sister. Your kids are so sweet and cute. I went out to dinner with Allen, Gerb, Racheal, and Jeremy. It was an Italian place in Provo. We even had music played right at our table. It was the best. It was great to finally meet Jeremy. I hung out with Allen/Gerbs family and it felt like I was home. I love your kids like my own. I had so many memories come back to Trent and I dating. Allen and Gerb I love your example of family. I was so impressed with your children and there work ethic. Thank you for being my brother and sister. I love you both. I wish I could have spent more time with everyone. I went to lunch with Lyle, Eva, and Emery. The food was great. Liv, Brem, and Emery are so much like my kids. I would have loved to take them home with me. Lyle and Eva thank you for spending so much time with me. You are truly my brother and sister. I wish we lived around you. I love all your stories and how happy you both are. Thank you for your example. You are so strong in the gospel. I love you both. Trina and I went to visit Michelle and the kids. What cute kids and baby I mean little man Kael. What a cute boy. He looks like his daddy. Michelle I loved spending time with you. I sure wished you could have stayed in Conn. Trent loves his kids more than life. He was just in San Diego, CA for 2 months and was missed terriable. Miya called all day every day and Charlize cried alot for dear old dad. Brandon had his moments. Last but not least Kai always asked where is dad. We love the cell phone. We could always reach him. Trent is definately the center of our home. Without him life would not be worth living. He is Young Mens President and loves the boys. He loved being with his Dad, Mom, and little brothers. He was able to see Larry, Nancey, and baby. He went to the temple with Seth and family. He played in the desert and played paint balls. He came home with some great bruises. It was awesome. He saw our dear friends Jerry, Brandi and many others. He loved his time away. We were happy for him but glad he is back.

Kai is 3 years old. He is smart. He reminds us of Kobe at that age. He loves to play and wrestle. He loves to run and jump. He will beat up the really big kids. He loves to tell Charlize all his sorrows. If he needs a drink Mom or Brandon will be asked. He lets Brandon dress him everyday with moms okay. He has his own mind. He will go on a bike ride everyday. He looks like Trent at that age. It is really cute to see how much he looks like dad. He loves to kiss mom all the time. Charlize Rose is 4 years old. She has a smile that will light up any ones life. She loves to sing and dance. She will get on the table and dance for her girlfriends. We love that because when she dates...those young men will be compared to her daddy. Charlize is her best Friend and Miya will make her sisters bed daily. Miya loves to run and was in a race. She recieved a metal. She loves to draw and paint. She is very creative. She also has alot of energy. She loves to pick. I would dare to say Miya is our Bremen. ;.) She may look like dad but has moms personality. We are blessed to have our Sweetie!!!

Brandon is 9 years old and loves his life. He has taken the summer to enjoy his Best Friends... Carson, Leyton, Adam, Cooper, and Cale. He loves Soccer, Basketball, swimming, camping, and riding bikes. He is so obedient. He will always do what we say. He may complain but do it any way. He loves his little brother Kai (who loves to wrestle and then cry). He is so sweet to his sisters (Miya/Charlize). He always tells them how much love he has for them. He truly is our LOVIE.

We are excited to finally get with all of you. Our little family is well. We love living in Maine and love being so close to the Ocean. The Beach is so fun and many of you have enjoyed it ( Dad/ Mom Black, Allen/Gerb Family, Lyle/Eva, Troy/Becky Family, Brett/Michelle Family, Larry/ Nancy - Dad/Mom Baker, Stephen, Tomi/Kids, Teren/Kids, Cousin Amanda). WOW!!! We appreciate all who have come to Maine! We know it is a sacrafice to make such a big trip-THANK YOU!!! We love our home and all the improvements. We have great neighbors and really good children in the neighboerhood. We love the school system. We really love our Ward Family.
